LUMEN

Every flight, debriefed.

Lumen turns each flight's data log into a debrief: a replay of the whole flight, the moments your school's rules flag, every landing measured, and comments pinned to the second they happened. See it with your own aircraft's flights in a short demo.

Getting the data in

Logs come in on their own

The phone picks up new logs from the aircraft's Wi‑Fi data card after the flight, and Lumen files each one under the pilot who flew it.

  • Garmin G1000 and Perspective logs, Cirrus data logs, GPX, KML and tracker files
  • Whole folders and zips at once, with duplicates spotted and skipped
  • Flights flown but never uploaded can be found from public ADS‑B tracking data
Exceedances

Your school's standards, checked on every flight

Each flight is checked against the rules your school sets for each aircraft type. Every exceedance opens the replay at that exact moment.

  • Warnings and cautions, with the worst value reached
  • Rules set per aircraft type, from the POH and your own procedures
  • Bad data can be set aside, so a sensor glitch never counts against a pilot
Approaches and landings

Every landing, measured

Lumen finds each touchdown and approach in the log and measures it, so you can see exactly how the last fifty landings went, not just the one you remember.

  • Sink rate, speed, pitch, load and distance from the centerline at touchdown
  • Approach type and runway, and approaches that were broken off
  • Any landing opens the replay at its approach and touchdown
Analytics

Trends you can act on

See hours, landings and measurements across every flight, filtered to one pilot, one aircraft or the whole fleet, and spot a habit before it becomes a problem.

  • Totals, averages and distributions of 28 measurements
  • Any point on a chart opens the flight at that moment
  • The same filters as the flight list, so the numbers always match
Instructors and students

Debriefs that point to the moment

Instructors and pilots comment on the exact second of a flight, or on the flight as a whole, and reply to each other. Everyone sees what they're meant to see, and nothing more.

  • Students see their own flights; their mentor sees them from the day they're paired
  • Schools see their fleet; aircraft owners see the flights on their aircraft
  • Comments are visible to the student and everyone above them

  1. Tell us about your operationYour aircraft, your pilots and what you want to catch.
  2. Send a few logsThe data card files from a recent week of flying are enough.
  3. Walk through your flightsReplays, exceedances and landings from your own aircraft.
